Whether you have found us on purpose or by just surfing the web, we are glad you are here. We are a group of men dedicated to using the philosophy of Freemasonry to make good men better.
If you are travelling to the East and a visitor to Washington DC and wish to share in a warm and vibrant Masonic community, we invite you to visit our Lodge for our Stated Communication on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm.

STUDY and learn a little about Masons and Freemasonry before you “Knock on our door.” There are many excellent references available on the internet as well as in libraries and book stores. Here are a few good videos:

Read about the good as well as the bad. Many people have a very negative preconceived notion about Freemasonry and, unfortunately, they are all too happy to share their points of view. We’ll be happy to answer your questions.
Many others have relatives – fathers and grandfathers – who were Masons, and they already know the kind of good men we seek.
CONTACT us via the contact form or by email. We will respond and either answer your questions or arrange a time to meet with you, probably over coffee! We’ll answer your questions and provide you with some additional information for you and your family to consider.
MEET some other members of our organization. You will need to be accepted into our fraternity by the vote of the members of our Lodge. Previous to a vote, we will want to know more about you, and about the man we are considering to share our brotherhood. We will invite you to join us for dinner or social events. We will want to meet your family and to have them meet us.
GROW as a person. Once you are invited by vote of the Lodge to join us, the real study and preparation will begin. You will be required to progress through a series of steps that lead you to full membership in our Fraternity. You must qualify and demonstrate your knowledge to pass these steps, and there will be men assigned to assist you. You will be challenged. From this mental and physical challenge will come growth.
ENJOY the full benefits of being a Freemason. You are a member of a world-wide organization. Your growth never stops, and you continue to develop deep and meaningful bonds of friendship. You have the opportunity for charitable activities, social activities, and leadership development.
